This page explains what we collect about you, why, who sees it, and how to object or ask for deletion. It is written to be read.
Raknty operates a digital parking platform: the raknty.com website, the Raknty app, and the gate and camera systems at the sites we run. This policy describes how we handle your personal data. It follows Egypt's Law 151 of 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data.
The data controller is [full legal company name], commercial register number [number], registered at [address]. To contact us about your data: info@raknty.com.
We collect what running the service requires, and no more:
The app asks for location permission for one purpose: to sort car parks by how near they are to you. That sorting happens on your phone. The coordinate is never sent to our servers and we do not store it. Refusing the permission does not stop you using the app — the sites simply appear unsorted by distance.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for third-party advertising. We share it only with:
Law 151 of 2018 gives you the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct what is wrong, to ask for it to be deleted, to withdraw your consent, and to object to a particular use. To exercise any of these, write to info@raknty.com and we will answer within [30] days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Centre.
Deleting your account deletes your name, your number and your vehicles. It does not delete payment records the law requires us to keep, nor camera reads captured of the vehicle itself independently of your account — those go when their own retention period ends.
Traffic to the site and the app is encrypted, passwords are stored hashed rather than readable, and database access is limited to those whose work needs it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.
The service is for people who drive. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
When something material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
